Lech Walesa, a charismatic leader from Poland, was born in Popowo, Poland, on 29th of September, 1943.
This great leader is a powerful politician, trade-union organizer, human rights activist, and a great philanthropist. He is the co-founder of ‘Solidarity’ which was the Soviet bloc’s first trade union.
Lech Walesa was the President of Poland from 1990 to 1995. He was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983. The people in Poland respect him.
