John Carroll doesn’t have a shot at marrying the lovely lady Pat Wyvern, not while his Uncle Lester, the Squire of Rudge Hall, is feuding with Pat’s father. Meanwhile, John’s cousin Hugo might have a chance to open a nightclub, if only the miserly Lester would lend him the money. But truth be told, Lester can barely afford his stay at Healthward Ho, the health spa where he’s put himself at the mercy of the aptly named Dr. Twist.
Thankfully, a plan emerges to help Lester get a little money for nothing, just enough to solve everyone’s problems. But when the not-so-legal scheme gets more twisted than a Healthward Ho exercise regimen, it may just open up a path down the aisle for John and Pat . . .
