Many people have said that when a person gets born again, although they use the word saved, he is automatically filled with the Holy Spirit. I have even heard some Pentecostal preachers say that this is true and, if they want, they can ask God for their prayer language. I don’t know where they got that idea because there is nothing in the Bible to back either of those statements. In this book I quoted the Bible and have given you reasons for the Holy Spirit baptism; but you must make the ultimate decision whether it’s necessary for you or not.

Jesus was saying that you don’t just get this amazing gift just because you have named Jesus as your Lord. No, that would be nice, but that’s obviously not the way God set it up. If you want the Holy Spirit baptism you must ask in specifics for the Holy Spirit baptism.
