Katherine's Sheaves presents a worldview on Christain Science through the story of a young and intelligent “Christain Scientist,” Katherine Minturn. The work is full of her interactions with Professor Seabrook, who had forbidden her to talk about Christian science while she was a student at Hilton. One can witness several instances of Katherine advocating this field and her efforts in preaching the benefits of studying it. She tells how her mother recovered from a condition that several physicians had said was incurable using this science and then became its practitioner. Christian science is portrayed in the story as a religion of love and the Science of sciences.
