The way a person thinks is the way he is.

There is nothing in the world that we know better than our thoughts.

In observing thinking we penetrate the fabric of the world

If I think mathematically I am thinking about the sensory world but do not, at the same time, think within it.

Our consciousness is not—as many people believe—the capacity to engender and preserve thoughts (ideas), but rather to perceive them.
