In Original Prin, Prin vows to become a better man and a better Catholic following a cancer diagnosis. He wants to spend more time with his kids, navigate his changing relationship with his wife, and better his research on the symbolism of the seahorse in Canadian literature.
But then his small Catholic college is threatened with closing, and as he meets with the developer planning to take over the school—naturally led by his ex-girlfriend Wende—Prin hears the voice of God.
