~~~~~ PG Excerpt ~~~~~
June avoided the problem of being in the same bed with her son by the simple expedient of falling asleep before Cameron got out of the shower. But it was only a temporary reprieve, because the next morning she emerged from the deepest, soundest sleep she’d had in months to find herself snuggled in Cameron’s arms, and with the unmistakable sensation of an erection pressed against her bottom.
She must have made some inarticulate sound upon waking, because Cameron’s arms tightened around her waist in welcome. And then his lips pressed against the back of her neck, making her shiver. “Good morning.”
She moved away, just a bit. Though her body ached pleasantly. Good God. I’m horny, she thought with mild astonishment. “You’re…”
His voice was amused. “If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times, love. It’s not my fault you’re so damn sexy.” Cameron moved down the bed, pushing aside the light blanket. “I know you’re probably too sore to do much,” he added, putting his head between her legs. He pushed up the oversized t-shirt June had found in the bottom drawer of the bureau the previous night, exposing her from the waist down. “But I can do something nice for you.” He cocked an eye up at her. “Really? Panties?”
“You…” June’s brain stuttered to a halt as her son pulled her underwear down her legs. “You’re going to…eat me?”
“Sure. Why not?” His lips touched the inside of one thigh, and June shivered. “It’s not…” His brow furrowed adorably, the same way it had when he was nine and learning his multiplication tables. “No. You’re, like, a week away, right?”
Ugh. Dealing with a menstrual cycle was one thing June had been happy to not have to think about as she crossed into middle age. Though she supposed Donna probably had tampons hidden away somewhere. “I guess.”
“Good.” Cameron ran his tongue up her leg. “So just lay back, relax, and let daddy take care of you, okay?”
This. This is wrong.
But somehow June couldn’t find the will to resist. Or even make some sort of lame excuse that could get her to the bathroom or the kitchen and keep her son at bay. It had been so long since she had felt another man’s mouth on her body. Years. Hell, she hadn’t even had the desire to masturbate for months, even if she’d been able to muster up the strength. The cancer had damaged her in more than one way. And what man would want her, scarred as she was?
My son does.
