“Letter from Birmingham Jail” is also known as “Letter from Birmingham City Jail” and “The Negro Is Your Brother.” This open letter was written by Martin Luther King, Jr. on 16th of April, 1963.
Through this letter, King very emphatically defends the strategy of non-violent resistance to racism.
The author presents his argument that people have a moral responsibility to break those laws which are unjust and go against the interests of all people.
