It's not the best biographical book I've ever read, but it gave a lot to think about when you will read Nabokov next time. Actually, I'm not of a big fan of Nabokov as a person and a critic (i think he's too arrogant after all), but I do really enjoy reading his novels. Bearing in mind that this book it focused only on an American period of Nabokov's life, it gives a pretty decent picture of how it turned out to a writer as well as to the whole literature.
