Dog – Bound to Be Man's Best Friend

Groucho Marx is said to have claimed that ”Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read?”

True or not, it´s not only the darkness that makes it hard to know what is going on inside the animal.

We breed them and we train them for our own purposes, but we can never ever know what it is like to be a dog. We live in different worlds. Take the sense of smell, for instance. Compared, if a human being´s sense of smell is the size of a postage stamp, the dog´s is the size of a soccer field.

But what if they could talk in a language that was comprehensible to humans?

Boy, would we get to know a thing or two!

This book let you have a glimpse of what we may expect, should we ever conquer the linguistic abyss that separate species who otherwise have a lot in common.
