Arguably Easter is the most significant time of the year for Christians. We celebrate the outrageous grace of God in sending the Son to free us from the power and penalty of sin. We rejoice in the new life that he offers. And yet it is all too easy, our minds dulled by familiarity, to lose the sense of wonder. As we read the familiar story in John’s Gospel, we can pray that it will come with a freshness and a life that will invigorate our faith and resource us for daily living.
