This book is about a beautiful, young man who left us at the very young age of 28. He was a brilliant and passionate doctor with a beautiful mind. His main passion and goal was to help others in all that he did. He was confident yet humble and passionate yet self-effacing. He was simultaneously funny and strong, vulnerable, ebullient, and considerate. Despite his youth, he was mature beyond his years with energy and thoughtfulness that he shared with others. He was too beautiful to be forgotten even if he is no longer with us. When he passed away, the hospital to which he dedicated his work established a memorial fund in commemoration of his love of others and his passion for the medical field. He received several awards posthumously including the Best Resident Teacher selected by the graduating medical students. They also established several awards and workshop under his name to remember his goodwill activities. His name was even engraved in one of the bricks at the University of Florida football field known as the “Swamp” to remember his passion and love for his alma mater. He made so many indelible marks in this world after having lived a short but brilliant life. He will stay in our hearts forever and will always be remembered as one of the most caring and loving sons, brother, uncle, friend, doctor and most importantly, person who we’ve ever known.
