Grave Vengeance: Esther's Story is a tale of a young girl who witnessed her families torture and murder at the hands of outlaws. She vowed to find these outlaws and get revenge for her family but felt the only way to do this was to pose as a boy so she could join the Confederacy.
After going to live with her aunt at a brothel, she and her friend Willy were able to join with Captain Ashbey's band of Confederates. One evening, while she was at her aunt's brothel, the three outlaws stopped by. What she did to these men would send chills down the spine of a seasoned killer.
Esther was later captured by Union forces and killed trying to escape.
