Recognizing the need to educate women about women, Yogi Bhajan created a special summer intensive training program for women called Khalsa Women's Training Camp (KWTC). The women in training program took place in Española, NM, USA, during summer starting in 1976 and continued for twenty years. Every year he spent up to 8 weeks directly teaching women. He personally lectured and led Kundalini Yoga classes every day, taught special meditations for women and shared ancient secrets on health and diet for women.

“At Women's Camp, we are asking you to look at yourself, patch up what is torn apart, leave what is excessive, and fill in the gaps. The idea is that all of you who believe in one reality, one thought, who have one goal to achieve and a common spirit to live righteously, should get together and help each other create a new energy. The energy should build up character one by one, micro-consciousness and macro-consciousness. That is what our future is based upon.” Yogi Bhajan

The Women in Training Series represent more than 20 years of lectures on humanology, parenting, nutrition and meditation; they are THE SOURCE for the women's teachings. Each summer, Yogi Bhajan spent 8 weeks teaching and training the women of 3HO to be radiant, noble and graceful. Or as he would say, “You be You”. He believed that the women's teachings were the key to unlocking peace and prosperity in the Aquarian Age. These teachings are his legacy and they are the key to your happiness as a woman and your wisdom as a man!.

Volume 7 The Psychology of the Graceful Woman brings the lectures from the summer of 1982.
