Noa Says… 6: This book focuses on the phoneme often spelled with a 'y'. 'Noa Says' is a series of books that focus on phonemes, the smallest parts of spoken words (ex. the word 'cat' has three phoneme sounds: /k/, /a/, and /t/). The 'Noa Says…' book series helps children and other English language learners practice pronouncing the different sounds in the English language. It uses a phonetic alphabet of 39 sounds, with a separate book for each phoneme. A portion of the proceeds from every book will be donated to War Child.
