Time is the most precious commodity we have. If you only trade time for money, you will always have to wake up and do it again. The key to building wealth is to have your money work for you by investing, acquiring assets and creating passive income. Even when you are not working, you are still increasing your wealth. There are many ways of getting beyond the “trading time for money” merry-go-round, but for many people real estate is the easiest and the one with the highest payoff. networking events, etc. There are lots of resources available, and my book is by no means the end-all-be-all of real estate investing. But I wrote it because nothing else I came across spoke to young working families in a way that took them from A to Z in the search for the life of their dreams.
My intention in writing this book is to give you a basic understanding of how to build long-lasting wealth and financial freedom. I don't know where you are in your financial journey. If you're like me, your schooling included very little financial education, if any at all. Over my ten years in real estate, I have met many folks who have never even considered real estate investment even though it is the most accessible path to building wealth.
