Choices is an eclectic mix of riveting short stories, which range from love at first sight in Tube Ride, to a chilling encounter with a painting, in The Painting. Outside of Liberty depicts a dystopian future that has been ravaged by a virus which has wiped out half of the world wide black population. My Mother's Stew explores the memories of a young woman who finds out she is adopted, while Generations follows the story of three different women from the same family, set in the past, the present and the future. In Fridge-a-Freeze we encounter a snobby fridge who thinks he's king of the kitchen appliances.
The predominant themes in this anthology are love, loss and courage. Some of the stories are steeped in sorrow, others put a smile on your face and some depict strong women who show us what they are truly made of.
