I hated all of the characters in this book. But that didn't stop me from finishing it in less than 12 hours.
After viewing all of the good reviews about this book, it was my time to read it. I have to say that it was as good as I expected not that I expect much. But I did enjoy reading it, and I couldn't put it down. Found myself at work wondering what was going to happen with this woman whose life seems to be a complete mess. I would recommend it for a long time to anyone I know. Rumor has it there is a movie to come. Fingers crossed cause I absolutely love Gone Girl.
I was so into this Rachel character, I felt like I was her.
Unpredictable! Oh my God, siapa yang ngira kalau dia pembunuhnya?!
Anyway, sayang sekali Scott dan Rachel akhirnya tidak bersama. Both of them deserve someone better, maybe they deserve each other :p
Didn't really like the the writing but the build up and structure of the plot made for a suspenseful enough read, though it all fell a little flat in the end. Utterly creepy mostly because of how believable and real it could be. Moral of the story: I'm not moving to the suburbs ever.
Not great even if it's best seller
Worth mentioning: one of the narrators is an alcoholic and shares quite a bit about it. Beware.
Other than that and despite the fact I hated everyone on this book, I couldn’t stop reading and I would say it’s great for understanding what gaslighting is.
This is really a very exciting book that keeps your attention to the end. Highly recommend to read.
Rachel may be a little bit naive & immature, but don't put it down so quickly guys. The character's development gonna be legit in the end 👌
It contains a shocking plot twist, and continues to surprise you from the start of the conflicts.
