about grace, but it just makes them laugh out loud. They drag him out of the cage and onto a bloody altar. He screams and shouts at the Virgin Mary while the warriors lay him on the altar and hold him tight. An Indian with an eerie mask - probably a kind of priest - raises his hands to the sun and shouts a lot in Native American language. Then he takes a crooked knife, cuts out the heart of that poor soldier, and lifts it into the air. The soldier twitches his legs once and lies still. A roar of joy rises from the crowd. Another priest lays the heart on a platter and begins to carry it up the stairs toward the top of the pyramid. Timmo watches with open mouth. It turns in him. He's used to blood and violence in computer games, but this beats everything he's seen before, and he's not sure he likes it. He can even smell the blood of the dead soldier.
(Ludo): Now we at least know what awaits us.
(Timmo): Yes, hurray.
(Princess): I was wondering what they are going to use the heart for?
(Wizard): They burn it on top of the pyramid as a sacrifice to the sun god. (Princess): Delicious.
The warriors return to the cage to retrieve the next one.
(Ludo): Ready for battle if they take one of us. Timmo, show what you're good at. Wizard, come up with something ingenious. Just get us out of here.
