    👍Worth reading

I love the depth of the story....
    Overwhelmingly sad😭😭😭
The story swept me away ....Away to the vast ocean😟
My heart broke 💔 and still breaking for the great old fisherman!

    💡Learnt A Lot

Someone might say book's boring , that there's nothing more than the old man and the sea. But for me it was pleasure reading this book. Like what he is going to do then? How he thinks he'll do that ? And finally will he survive ?!
I liked Santiago. I might say I would like to meet with him, of course if he wasn't a fiction. I liked that industrious, kind, experienced fisherman who love what he's doing for living. And how he treats to the sea world...

Quotes

You did not kil the fish only to keep alive and to sel for
food, he thought. You kil ed him for pride and because you
are a fisherman. You loved him when he was alive and you
loved him after. If you love him, it is not a sin to kil him. Or is it more?

But I would rather be exact. Then when luck comes you are ready.

He lived along that coast now every night and in his dreams he heard the surf roar and saw the native boats come riding through it.
