Are you suggesting I should have sabotaged your plans because I couldn’t hold myself back?”
“Yes, indeed, why not? Disrupting and ruining things seems to be your expertise.”

could usually anticipate when and how much work a lawyer would have. However, Yoonshin’s schedule had become unpredictable. He had been leaving work exactly on time for the past few days, always heading somewhere other than home.
Sehun couldn’t comprehend this current situation at all.
If he had to pinpoint a turning point, it began the day Yoonshin received a late-night phone call in Sehun’s dressing room.
That day, Yoonshin didn’t return until well after Sehun had finished washing up. He appeared when Sehun was applying toner to his face, casually mentioning that he had to make a brief stop somewhere. It seemed to involve a client facing domestic issues. Sehun understood Yoonshin’s dedication and passion for work, so he initially dismissed it as one of those cases.
But as the days passed, Sehun began to feel something was amiss. Yoonshin shouldn’t be neglecting Sehun for such an extended period without explanation. If he had to, he should have at least provided Sehun with a reason. Despite both of them being busy, they understood each other’s demanding schedules. Sehun could have easily understood if Yoonshin’s absence was work-related. Yet Yoonshin made no effort to help Sehun comprehend.
He read the message once more. This one was distinct from the previous ones Yoonshin had sent. Unlike before, where Yoonshin would explain why, where, and when he would be back, this message was a mere announcement of his departure.
“I suppose I should reeducate him, starting with the five Ws and How.”
In frustration, he slammed his phone down and picked up the internal phone receiver. Pressing a button, he heard a familiar voice on the other end. “Yes, sir, Secretary Tak speaking.”

“The same goes for Senior Attorney Kang. Let’s keep this lawsuit professional.”
Yoonshin’s head remained cool as ice, and his tone grew even colder. The other lawyer, who had only met Yoonshin a few times, sensed the change in attitude and fell silent.
