    Another thing to bear in mind is that as you cycle through these stages, you should do your absolute best to keep them completely clean and distinct. When you are working, do nothing but work. When you are resting, do nothing but rest. The entire system falls apart if you’re muddling through your work with half a brain or thinking about all the things you’re going to do while you’re supposed to be relaxing. It’s a great idea to literally and physically move yourself away from your work during your break times. Get up, leave your office or workstation, go outside, stretch, or do whatever you can to change the scenery.
