N.J. Moss

N.J. Moss is a writer of psychological thrillers who immerses himself in themes like madness, deceit, and betrayal. He debuted with the novel The Husband Trap in 2022).

N.J. Moss was born in Weston-super-Mare. He holds a degree in English literature and has worked as a fiction ghostwriter for nearly a decade.

Moss turned to writing and stumbled upon a freelance website offering low-paying ghostwriting jobs. Despite having no experience, he landed a contract and began writing romance ghost stories to make ends meet. This experience honed his writing skills and taught him to meet deadlines across different genres.

Moss's journey as a writer was not without challenges. From ages eighteen to twenty-seven, he started and abandoned around twenty of his books while writing millions of words for ghostwriting projects. The realization that he needed to break free from this pattern led him to finish his first book, All Your Fault. He describes this process as hacking his mind to find pleasure in the smallest moments of writing.

His most recent book, Nowhere to Run (2024), continues his exploration of psychological thrillers. In this gripping tale, Katy Mitchell finds herself in a taxi with a killer who forces her into a terrifying game of survival.

N.J. Moss lives in Weston-super-Mare, where he spends time with his wife and their two dogs. He enjoys reading, writing, and inline skating along the promenade.
