Carol Merlo

I grew up in a suburb of Los Angeles in the sixties and started my career as a folk singer at 14 and actor in an repertory theatre at 18. I learned two things from those experiences: (a) that I love influencing people to create joy and inspiration in their lives; and (b) that I love the freedom that entrepreneurship affords people to create their lives the way they want them to be.But, it wasn't until I was 33, when I found myself in a battered woman’s shelter with a 1-year old son and few remaining possessions that I became determined to live the life of my dreams. I used loans and scholarships to put myself through school and cleaned houses to make ends meet. I received a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology after 6 years, and decided that what I wanted most in life to do was help people develop the self-confidence and skills to create lives of meaning and purpose. As a 20 year veteran of the Direct Marketing industry, I have provided Leadership and Entrepreneurship training and education to thousands of people in the US and Canada. I built and supported a sales organization of 45,000 people in the dietary supplement and nutrition Direct Sales Industry. My education in the fields of Psychology and Training enables me to enable others to apply the tools of personal transformation to their lives and make a difference in their day to day activities. I have a passion for the home business solopreneur. I know what it takes to work at home and maintain the focus and direction to make a great income without giving up balance. Whether you are a network marketer or an aroma therapist, you need to have certain inner and outer skills to make a living doing what you love. I teach people the exact skills to be happy and profitable as a solopreneur.
