Angela Burt-Murray

Angela Burt-Murray is the former editor-in-chief of Essence magazine, cofounder of CocoaFab.com and cohost of the talk show Exhale. Her previous novel The Vow, which she wrote with Denene Millner and Mitzi Miller was made into the Lifetime movie "With this Ring" starring Jill Scott, Gabrielle Union, Regina Hall and Eve. She also co-authored The Angry Black Woman's Guide to Life. Angela has also served as executive editor of TEEN PEOPLE and HONEY magazines and has appeared on CNN, The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Good Morning America, MSNBC and The Today Show. A graduate of Hampton University, Angela resides in Atlanta with her husband and their two children.
