Deana Long

Deana Long grew up in Long Island. She has three brothers and two sisters and they were always kept away from everyone else and taught certain principles that the parents believed. They were even home schooled to prevent their minds from being corrupted. Deana never knew anyone else thought differently until she went off to college after getting a scholarship. She had to re-educate herself to function. The way she grew up fuelled her passion to write. She wanted to show the distinct contrast between her world and the actual. She writes to show that with time and patience a healthy compromise can be found.
