Shirley Amendt

COME, FOLLOW ME is Shirley Amendt’s second book of New Testament poems. Shirley grew up in a little town in the panhandle of Nebraska, graduated with a BA in English literature from Univ. of Nebr. At Lincoln. She then took an MA from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Shirley loves to share her Christian faith through her poems that open up the Bible stories, bringing out their deeper meaning, and causing them to lodge in your memory. Shirley lives in Watertown, SD, and is a member of Prairie Lakes Baptist Church. She teaches Sunday School and loves cooking for fellowship meals! She is married to Joe Amendt, 747-captain R, a deacon at Prairie Lakes Baptist.
