Margaret Pritchard Houston was almost literally born in the gutter, as her dad parked at the wrong entrance to the hospital and had to leave her mum to go find a wheelchair.She grew up in the USA, in a house full of books, fantasizing about time travel, which explains her interest in historical fiction. She has lived in the UK since 2005, is a trained teacher, and works with children in the Church of England.Margaret lives in North London with her two cats, and is mum to Isaac, who died in 2015.
