Jacinth McLaughlin grew up in Aspen Colorado. She lived a sheltered life as she was home schooled. She was always afraid to get out of the cocoon. She had to do some major adapting when she went off to college. She learned a lot about herself and a lot about social interaction and how one person could manipulate the next. After completing college she had to find some way to make a note of these experiences. That led to her writing novellas and eventually books. She focused on a myriad of themes. She was intrigued by the power that sex had over some people and focused on that in many of her books to help others to learn of the positives and negatives of that power. She currently lives in Portland with her husband Derrick and their three children.
