Liza Mulholland

Liza Mulholland is from Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland. She studied Scottish History and Sociology at Glasgow University, before going on to work as a musician and playing across Britain, Ireland and Europe. For several years she also devised and produced award-winning TV and radio arts documentaries for BBC Scotland in her independent production company, Metagama Productions. Taking time out in 2004 to set up and run the family outdoor activities and events business at Bogbain Farm, Inverness, she returned to full-time music in 2011, playing with her band, Dorec-a-belle, composing music for projects including film, and is a regular tutor with Fèis Rois and Fèis Inbhir Narainn. She lives in her home town with her son and two cats.
