Dr. Jack Tsai is a family physician dedicated to the care of the medically underserved, with a special interest in the care for the homeless. He received his undergraduate degree in Physiological Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine where he helped to oversee the street medical outreach team.Jack completed his residency training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. He stayed an additional year as Chief Resident and Faculty Development Fellow, participating in one of the nation’s first primary care fellowship with an emphasis on Patient-Centered Medical Home transformation.By day, he works at The Children’s Clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the uninsured and underinsured of Long Beach, California. He is also part-time staff at the Harbor-UCLA Family Medicine residency program, teaching residents and medical students in the residency’s family health center.By night, he is a seminary student pursuing a MA in Biblical and Theological Studies at Talbot School of Theology. By weekends (and any other time that frees up), he serves as an English Ministry leader at South Bay Evangelical Christian Church where he is involved in preaching, teaching, and mentoring. He and his wife Priscilla live in Torrance, California.
