Louise Emma Clarke is an English blogger, freelance journalist, and author renowned for her blog Mum of Boys & Mabel (IG @mumofboysandmabel).
Louise was born in the UK and educated at Tunbridge Wells Girls' Grammar School. She graduated with a BA in English from the University of Southampton (1999–2002) and moved to London to begin a career in publishing in magazines and newspapers, including Daily Express, Take a Break, That's Life, Best Magazine, and Woman's Weekly.
Having married in 2010, Clarke moved to Dubai, contributing as a freelance journalist to Time Out Dubai, Baby & Child Magazine, and others. She began her award-winning blog in 2014, quickly amassing over 100,000 global followers. The blog won Best Parenting Blog at the Time Out Kids Awards 2014.
Her debut novel, From Mum with Love (2019), is a fictional tale inspired by her experiences as a blogger and mother. Her second book, Mum's Big Break (2020), continues to explore similar themes. Both novels have been well-received.
Now, Clarke balances her writing career with being a mother of three. She candidly shares her insights on parenting, social media pressures, and the juggling act of work and family life.
