Wrote children's book, The Best Mariachi in the World, from Raven Tree Press. Collection of poetry, Settling for Beauty, was published in 2005. Received a Fellowship in Poetry from the National Endowment for the Arts. Born in Chicago, Studied in Texas, Canada and Mexico, and lives and works in Washington, DC.
