Fainche Ryan, a native of Tralee, Co. Kerry, holds a doctorate in theology from the University of St Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum), Rome and is a lecturer in theology at the Mater Dei Institute, A College of Dublin City University. She is the author of Formation in Holiness, Thomas Aquinas on Sacra Doctrina (2007) and of several articles in theological journals.
