Wayne Hunt had a very successful career with the U. S. Forest Service. Following his retirement, he studied creative writing with the Institute for Children's Literature, and more recently studied creative writing taught by Rebecca Williams Spindler, an award-winning screenwriter, author, and instructor. Wayne has written a series of four pre-teen children's books that contain natural resource settings and positive character-building messages. Zack's Turnips Lessons: Ideally Positive is the second book in the series.
