    We couldn’t understand why people were still trying to quit smoking with nicotine patches or talking over the top of people, or programming in destructive habits, or living by other peoples’ values, or starting projects that were destined to fail. If they just read a couple of books, they’d be able to avoid all of the all-too-common pitfalls.
