Alex Wong was born in London and currently lives in Cambridge, where he studied and now teaches English literature. As a critic he has published studies of English and Latin poetry, and of the history of criticism. He is editor of the Selected Verse of Algernon Charles Swinburne, and some of his poems were included in the anthology New Poetries VI, both published by Carcanet in 2015. He is currently a Research Fellow at St John’s College, Cambridge.
