Robin Higham, a former RAF pilot, is the author of numerous books on aviation history, including 'Two Roads to War: The French and British Air Arms from Versailles to Dunkirk' (2012) and 'Why Air Forces Fail" The Anatomy of Defeat.' Residing in Manhattan, KS, Higham taught military history at Kansas State University for 35 years.
