Joseph Watson is the London Creative Director of the National Trust. From 2012 to 2014, he managed the innovative and risk-taking London Project, the National Trust’s testbed for engaging urban audiences. He sits on the Southbank Centre’s Heritage Advisory Group and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Before joining the Trust he held roles at the Victoria and Albert Museum and The Courtauld Institute of Art. He has a particular interest in twentieth-century design, and also authored the National Trust’s guidebook for the temporary opening of Balfron Tower, East London.
