Marc Loewenthal is an English language teacher and linguistic specialist. He has worked in ELT in the UK, Greece, Russia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. He has a degree in Russian and Linguistics an MA in English and an MSc in Multimedia. He speaks six languages, including Russian and Greek. He has written and published three books, The Latin Heart of English Volume 1, The Liondale English Language Series Volume 1 and The Other Dictionary. His next book will be a humorous take on word meanings and histories in English entitled Bless the Buccaneers with Barbecued Blood. He has three children and lives in London. His interests include writing, reading, creating multimedia, popular science, languages, linguistics, racing and football. One of his greatest thrills was being at Dortmund Stadium in 2006 watching his mother’s country, Trinidad and Tobago, draw with Sweden in their first ever game at the World Cup.
