Her Made in Yorkshire series began with A New Home in the Dales (2023), following Bobby Bancroft, a city woman who takes on a junior reporter role at The Tyke magazine.
The novel explores her adjustment to village life and her interactions with local villagers and Charlie, a mischievous vet. War Comes to the Dales (2023) continues Bobby’s story, examining the challenges of sustaining a community during wartime. A Wartime Christmas in the Dales (2024) focuses on the festive spirit and the complexities of relationships amid the hardships of war.
A Wartime Wedding in the Dales (2025) follows Bobby as she prepares to marry Charlie while training as a WAAF. She forms a bond with Canadian instructor Ernie King, testing her faith in love across distance and uncertainty. The novel explores themes of separation, loyalty and hope in wartime Yorkshire.
