Tara Taylor Quinn

Tara Taylor Quinn is the prolific author of over 110 romance novels, suspense and women's fiction. She has sold over seven million copies of her books in twenty languages. Quinn is a five-time Rita Award finalist and has appeared on local and national TV, including CBS Sunday Morning.

Tara Taylor Quinn was born and raised in Ohio. She wrote her first story at the age of seven. As a stringer for the Dayton Daily News, she began her professional writing career ten years later.

Quinn attended Wright State University and graduated from Harding College in Arkansas with a degree in English and Journalism. Before turning to writing full-time, she published several magazine articles.

In 1992, she sold her first book to Harlequin Books and has been working with them ever since. In 2010, Quinn was approached by HCI Books to write her true life love story. She and her husband, Tim Barney, collaborated and wrote It Happened On Maple Street (2011).

Former President of the Romance Writers of America, Tara Taylor Quinn served on the organization's Board of Directors for eight years. In addition to being a public speaker, she has also presented workshops for writers groups around the country.

"I live life from my heart. I'm a wife, a mother, a survivor, an in-line skater, and a supporter of The National Domestic Violence Hotline," Quinn said.
