Juliet Madison

Juliet Madison is an Australian author known for her compelling fiction and self-help books that combine humour, heart and serendipity. She has written over 20 books, including Fast Forward (2013) and Tarrin's Bay Series Book 7 (2024). Madison's work has received award nominations, most notably The January Wish, a finalist in the 2012 Choc Lit Australian Star competition.

Born on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia, Madison trained as a naturopath and a dancer, experiences that inform her passion for healthy living and creativity. She even has a background in internet marketing and perfume sales (she says she was one of those annoying people in department stores who sprayed you with perfume).

Juliet Madison began her writing career in 2009, with her debut novel, Fast Forward, published by Escape Publishing, the digital imprint of Harlequin / Harper Collins Australia, in 2013. This romantic comedy marked her entry into the literary world.

Madison's writing process is systematic and structured, often planning her stories in detail. She has noted, "I like to map everything out and write a timeline for the story," emphasizing her preference for a clear narrative structure.

The Tarrin's Bay series, one of her notable works, includes books like The January Wish and Holiday in July. The January Wish became a top 5 bestseller in contemporary romance on Amazon Australia and a finalist in the Choc Lit Australian Star contest. The series explores love, community, and personal growth, often set in coastal town settings.

Madison resides in New South Wales, where she continues to write, teach online courses, and balance her creative work with family life.
