After a breakout song is recorded a Montana storm causes an accident and James leaves the tour bus, and his band, in search of help. Instead he encounters the harsh storm and becomes lost.

In a deep depression, Heather retreats to Wisconsin, where she spends months dealing with the probability that her husband will never be found.
