Despite being a serious child, she was captivated by the magic of storytelling. Her early attempts included a Spyro the Dragon fan-fiction at age eight and a fantasy story inspired by Lord of the Rings at eleven.
In her teenage years, she wrote a vampire/demon novel, though she later found it too "emo" to read again. One of her dreams is to write fiction featuring an alliance between Alice Liddell, Dorothy Gale, and Wendy Darling.
Summers debuted with her novel The Old Ways (2015). Released six years after her initial foray into the fantasy genre, it established her presence in the literary world.
