Simon Goddard

Simon Goddard

Simon Goddard is the British author of several books about popular music which have been described as “thrillingly unusual” (The Observer), “ludicrous and brilliant” (The Scotsman) and “endlessly entertaining” (The Independent). They include: Rollaresque, a bawdy picaresque homage to The Rolling Stones; Ziggyology, a creation history of Bowie's Ziggy Stardust; and Simply Thrilled, the preposterous story of Postcard Records. Mr Goddard does not have an official author website, nor does he use social media: possibly because, as you can see from his portrait, he currently lives in the 1880s when the internet didn't exist. He is published by Ebury in London and is represented by Jenny Brown Associates in Edinburgh.
