Rachel Baker is a freelance journalist and mum to Sonny, age three. Sonny developed epilepsy at the age of two and has been the inspiration for Rachel's research into the condition. When Sonny started nursery after developing epilepsy, Rachel identified a need for more literature aimed specifically at child carers to aid a better understanding of the condition and how to cope with any seizures or emergencies that may arise. Rachel is a member of the National Society for Epilepsy, and continues to write to promote awareness of the condition.
