Janet Rebhan was born and raised in Big Spring, Texas. When she was sixteen, her family moved to Los Angeles, where she pursued an acting and modeling career for a number of years. She went on to study creative writing at UCLA and Moorpark College, and has published a number of short stories as well as articles for online magazines. Rebhan has two grown daughters and resides in Agoura Hills, California with her husband, Robert. Finding Tranquility Base is her first novel. She is currently working on her second novel, which is set in Los Angeles.
