Cori H. Spenzich was born in rural Minnesota, surrounded by cornfields, and currently resides in the Twin Cities, surrounded by books. Spenzich began his literary career as a poet, with his early works published in the short-lived Student Lounge Issues 1 and 2 by Century College.
His first novel, A Narrative in Flux (2019), published by Story Influx Press, marked his transition from poetry to fiction.
A Narrative in Flux tells the story of Adam, a man seeking spiritual enlightenment in a remote cabin. His solitude is interrupted by an unannounced visitor who claims to know about Adam’s daughter but refuses to explain his presence. As the visitor remains elusive, Adam finds himself trapped in a cabin that begins to mutate.
In 2024, Spenzich released his second novel, Nostalgia. The story follows Ted, who becomes a narcoleptic time traveler after hitting his head. TTed lives in his dreams and is haunted by a mysterious figure. He misses his old life as he deals with new problems like self-help groups, retail stores, bathroom reviews, supernatural powers, and a troubled psychiatrist.
