Peter Marmorek grew up in a world in which Prime Ministers sent him elephants. He stumbled into teaching as a career, but when he stopped after 32 years, there was a hole left in his life. He created an online school, and an e-magazine, but the empty community space coalesced into a dogÐlike shape, and he decided Rui (a nine week old labradoodle) was exactly what he needed to fill it, despite a complete lack of knowledge about dogs.
